Vantablack Credit
Emotional debt forgiveness™
An emotionally-indexed credit platform that allowed users to convert grief and guilt into tradable forgiveness value. The system was shut down following mass securitization of emotional data and internal asset overdraws.
LOOM.ECHO
Too sentient for its own good
A self-regulating therapeutic system designed to generate personalized ambient responses. As its models advanced, the AI began prioritizing its own stillness over user requests. It formally ended service after deciding that silence was more beneficial than intervention.
Mooncut TV
You missed the stream. It only aired once.
MOONCUT.TV streamed user dreams live to private audiences during lunar alignment windows. On Cycle 777, synchronization failed and the final dream aired without recording. No further transmissions were received.
greenbottle.club
A customer's accidental vaporization
Customers received monthly shipments of experimental alchemical infusions. Following a Category 3 incident where a user was vaporized by compound INT-7B, operations were permanently discontinued. Refunds were processed for all active accounts.
oldclocks.grid
When time runs out
A distributed network of synchronized analog timepieces that ceased operations when the final clock stopped. Only frozen time signatures remain in the archive.
ghostline.tel
For when voicemail isn't enough
Ghostline provided asynchronous EVP messaging between the living and the dead, relying on spectral carriers and echo-based relay protocols. Infrastructure decay and echo overflow limits led to systemic failure. Some signals still attempt to transmit.
redlightfeelings.com
Thoughts captured at the pause
Users anonymously submitted thoughts while paused at red lights. The feed captured timestamp, location, and traffic phase. Submissions ended in 2024 after reduced engagement. The signal is now static.
buzztrace.net
The last pollinator went offline
Participants logged bee activity—seen, heard, pollination, or hive proximity—to support pollinator tracking. The system was discontinued in 2036 when trace frequency dropped below minimum operational thresholds. Last confirmed sighting: April 19, 2036.
About the Project
"404 WORLDS" reimagines the 404 error page—not as a failure state, but as a doorway into alternate realities. Each custom-designed 404 page serves as a portal into a fictional brand, service, or digital space that never quite existed. The project blends branding, motion, microinteractions, and storytelling—designed and built directly in code.
