Virginia Web Developer | Northern VA & DC Metro

Expert Web Development for Virginia, DC & Maryland Businesses

I'm a self-taught web developer with a background in biological science and creative business, serving the Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland areas. I transitioned from running a niche art-based commission shop to building clean, purposeful websites that serve real-world business needs—no fluff, just focus.

My Local Approach

My design approach is quiet but intentional: I believe in streamlined user experiences, sharp accessibility, and modern aesthetics that don't distract from your message. Whether you need a site for your Virginia small business, DC nonprofit, Maryland restaurant, or personal brand, I work fast, communicate clearly, and care deeply about how your site feels to real users in our local community.

Technical Expertise

I specialize in no-code and low-code solutions backed by clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I've worked with media and mapping tools like Cloudinary, OpenCage, and AtlasDB, and I love bridging the gap between design and data—whether that's for visual storytelling or interactive tools. I'm especially interested in projects that serve communities, educate users, or experiment with format.

Currently, I'm also developing a shelter management platform as a passion project—proof that thoughtful UX and tangible impact don't have to be separate goals.

I work with clients throughout Virginia, DC, and Maryland, but am open to projects anywhere. I focus on creating websites that help local businesses grow their online presence and reach their target audiences effectively.

I design behind the scenes so your work can shine on the grid. That's the Ghost part.
